mad men and me. i’d say spoiler alert here, but i’m probably the last person on tumblr to get round to watching season four, so whatever. after watching the first few seasons of mad men quite religiously, i put off watching season four for no real reason other than a general malaise and lack of interest (and the sopranos). but after borrowing the dvds off jonnie, i totally binged on it this week, and was really enjoying it, up until that thundercunt of a final episode that had me watching through my fingers, when i could watch the screen at all. will i fuck be looking forward to season 5: my aesthetic appraisal of joan holloway can not support my newfound lack of respect for don draper (and now that crazy californian woman is dead, the best rapport of the show has gone with her). i do, however, enjoy that don’s idea of drinking less is just to drink beer in the afternoon instead of spirits.
