take courage

i noticed one of these in new cross the first time we stayed down in london with anneke’s cousin (i think it’s the one that is in third img down), and then one popped up in the latest edition of when saturday comes. it’s a rather comforting slogan, and when taken out of it’s alcohol advertising context, i think it’s a brilliant thing just to have dotted about the place as a little bit of daily encouragement, like a “hey pal, you lookin fine the day, nice trousers etc” kinda thing. maybe get one of these sorted out on argyle st for my commute to debbers.

we by Dam Mantle

pitchfork recently chided dam mantle in their recent review of his ep compilation as being too ambitious. i’d much rather listen to ambition than someone playing it safe. and this 10-minute guy goes all over the shop.

scottish football utter yawns that no-one cares about at all.

neil lennon’s touchline ban.

just put him a dark room on his own and let the prat start a fight with himself. problem solved.
