gurning old geez talks some sense.
i’m not a massive fan of walter smith. bookending his great job as scotland manager was me growing up during the dark days of ranger’s 9-in-a-row championship winning team, a club he went scuttling back to continue winning things with them ever since turning his back on his country.
but this quote, lifted from the bbc site, says a lot about his awkwardness, and continual determination...
the sacking of jocky scott, part two
gordon chisholm as new dundee boss!
lol!
county to win the league - prediction right there.
the sacking of jocky scott
despite having the best home record in the league, and sitting top of the first division with only nine games left, dundee have sacked their manager, jocky scott.
amazing.
which can go either way - they’ll get someone in who can see the club through their nervous slump to win the first division, or they’ll appoint someone who the fans won’t take to, and who will fail in taking...

"nothing can go wrong now"
“put a smile on my couriouscating coupon, tam”
goodness. it has come to this. internally, over the last three or four months, i have been caught in a whirlwind, saturday morning love affair with the danny baker show (5live, 9am - 11am) and off the ball (radio scotland, usually but not exclusively 11.30am - 1.30pm).
my saturdays now have a real sense of structure. awake just in time...
ugggh.
leigh griffiths, you are pish. the best bleach-blonde winger in the league is clearly young jonny hayes, because small and chunky as he is, he’d never caught in the back pocket of ross tokely. never.
blog on that you hack.
lol 1-0 liverpool
benitez has to go, and i’m not even a liverpool fan. it’s just depressing seeing torres, one of my favourite football players wasted on a team like this.

phenomenal value 39p: rip
shocked was i upon entering the corner shop. irn bru have upped the ante, with phenomenal value cans now clocking in at a solid 45p.
that’s not phenomenal. it’s still pretty good, perhaps even a nicer number to look at, but phenomenal? i don’t know about that..

now now
slightly disappointed in neil warnock and his lack of fight, but then when didn’t football managers disappoint?
